License

The following table provides general description of the WebOTX license for informational purpose only.

Please consult your regional NEC representative for actual product offering and ordering information.

*CU license is the license required based on the installed physical CPUs on the server running WebOTX product. Depending on the specific WebOTX product and usage, CU license may be required in addition to the basic license. If the number of CPU or cores increases, the required number of CU license will also increase. Please consult your regional NEC representative to determine the required number of licenses for your environment.

<Basic License>

  • One basic license is required for each physical server. Regardless of the number of virtual machines, one basic license is required for one physical machine.

<CU License>

  • Depending on the total number of physical CPUs and cores, required number of CU licenses is determined.
  • If WebOTX is installed in one or more virtual machines on a physical server, required number of CUs (Virtual CUs) is determined by the total number of physical CPUs and cores assigned to WebOTX.
  • For standby system, you can select discounted CU license for standby system instead of CU license.

Application Server product license for low end system.

  • One basic license is required for each physical server.

  • Depending on the total number of physical CPUs, required number of CU licenses is determined.
  • If WebOTX is installed in one or more virtual machines on a physical server, required number of CUs (Virtual CUs) is determined by the total number of physical CPUs assigned to WebOTX.
