NEC Storage Manager Express is software for management of NEC Storage E series and has the following functions.

Configuration management of a disk array device

• A disk array device is managed through GUI of Web browser.

Configuration and allocation of a disk array device

• NEC Storage E series is configured from GUI screen.
• NEC Storage E series is easily initialized by an install wizard.

Hardware failure detection

• Failure of a disk array device is displayed by a message and an icon,

Notification of failure and alert

• An error of a disk array device is notified to an administrator by sending an e-mail.
