NEC Storage Manager reduces storage management costs by providing functions that help administrators monitor the configuration and operating conditions of NEC Storage disk array system.

NEC Storage Manager is management software for NEC Storage disk array system having the following functions.

Configuration management

Centralizes and displays configuration information of NEC Storage disk array system.

• When NEC Storage E series is monitored, only a part of the disk array information is displayed.
• Use NEC Storage Manager Express to monitor and display detail information.

Status monitoring

The software displays the components of NEC Storage disk array system and their operating conditions. When a failure is detected, a message or an icon is displayed for notification.

Operation management

Provides operation collaboration and notification service triggered by a failure or when a performance threshold is exceeded.
