WORM Software enables users to simultaneously maintain WORM and non-WORM data in the same NEC Storage HS system by allowing the function to be implemented for only the datasets or applicable portions of the infrastructure that need it.

NEC Storage HS OpenStorage - Suite Option consists of the following components for backup and replication - Dynamic I/O, Express I/O, Optimized Synthetics and Optimized Copy. Each component contributes to the usability, reliability, administration and performance of backup and replication, utilizing both NEC Storage HS and Symantec NetBackup features. Enterprises utilizing NEC Storage HS in conjunction with Symantec NetBackup will maximize storage capacity utilization, prevent I/O bottlenecks and optimize overall backup workload using NEC Storage HS OpenStorage - Suite Option.
