Oracle Storage Compatibility Program (OSCP)
Oracle Corporation provides the Oracle Storage Compatibility Program (OSCP), a program for testing if an Oracle database operates on a third party's disk array device at the same level as on Oracle's own disk array devices. As an OSCP member, NEC tested an NEC Storage disk array device storing Oracle databases using replication software such as DynamicDataReplication and RemoteDataReplication, and the NEC Storage NV series as NAS. As a result, the test ended in success, and it was confirmed that Oracle databases were compatible with DynamicDataReplication, RemoteDataReplication, disk array devices of the NEC Storage S series, and the NEC Storage NV series.
