SAP R/3 Non-disruptive backup system

Problems prior to implementation
A financial management system is in use that has been implemented using general-purpose machines. This system is now outdated and does not meet the requirements because it can only give quarterly account information. Accordingly, an ERP package is implemented for integrating management information and to acquire necessary information in real time.
Solutions and effects
It is considered optimum to use the NEC Storage S2000 series system, which is a mid-range model of disk array systems, and the Express 5800 cluster system for implementing the SAP R/3.
- This is the first in the clinical inspection industry to implement the SAP R/3, which is a standard ERP package, for integration of information. Reliability as well as service efficiency is improved by adopting the Express 5800 cluster system combined with the NEC Storage S2000 series system.
