Interoperability Laboratory
Careful and detailed verification study is being performed in coordination with other in-house departments having expertise in servers as well as in software technology.
Storage products are used in various types of hardware and software environments, so comprehensive verification work is essential in order to ensure connectivity and to obtain qualifications and approvals. NEC Storage has established the Interoperability Laboratory, in which extensive verification work is carried out to test the system under various types of hardware and software configurations in coordination with engineers from other in-house departments experienced in servers and software technology.
In addition, cooperation with other major vendors enables mutual offering of respective products for joint verification of interoperability, mutual evaluation work before product releases, reliability assessments, and so on. These efforts help facilitate early releases of new products as well as quick response to customers.
