The following table provides a general description of the MasterScope JobCenter licenses for informational purposes.

Please consult your regional NEC representative for product availability and ordering information.

  • Purchase at least one MG license appropriate for your platform for the machine that contains job network definitions within its system.
  • One JobCenter MG license and one JobCenter CJC Option license are needed for each node when using the manager in a cluster configuration. (For example, two JobCenter MG licenses and two JobCenter CJC Option licenses are needed in a two-node manager cluster configuration.)
  • Viewer licenses for five nodes are included.
 Per management server
JobCenter SV
  • One server license appropriate for the size (tier) of the machine on which the job is running is required for each server.
  • One JobCenter SV license and one JobCenter CJC Option license are needed for each node in a server cluster configuration. (For example, three JobCenter SV licenses and three JobCenter CJC Option licenses are needed in a three-node server cluster configuration.)
 Per managed server
JobCenter CL/Win
  • One viewer license is needed for each terminal used.
  • A set of five JobCenter CL/Win licenses is the minimum purchase unit.
  • Five JobCenter CL/Win licenses are included in the MG. Purchase this license only when more licenses are needed.
 Per client
JobCenter CJC Purchase a CJC option license in the following two cases:
  1. When using the server in a cluster configuration.
  2. When building multiple JobCenter execution environments on a single server.
  • Case 1
    One CJC option license is needed for each node in the cluster configuration.
    For example, two SV licenses as well as two CJC option licenses are needed when the job execution server is used in a two-node cluster configuration.
  • Case 2
    One CJC option license is needed for each machine in which multiple execution environments are built, irrespective of the number of JobCenter execution environments built on the machine.
    For example, one SV license as well as one CJC option license are needed when three JobCenter execution environments are built on one job execution server.
 Per clustered node
JobCenter Definition Helper
  • One license is needed for each machine where in which Excel is used to create or edit batch definitions. (That is, the number of licenses is equal to the number of Excel applications.)
  • One license covers five nodes.
 Per machine
JobCenter for ERP Option
  • One license is needed for each machine in which SAP jobs are defined (the same number of MG licenses).
  • If you use the MG in a cluster environment, one license is needed for each node in the same way as with the MG license. Purchase the ERP (SV) version as the second and subsequent licenses.
  • Example: One ERP Option license and one ERP (SV) Option license are needed in a two-node cluster.
  • SAP ERP is the successor product of SAP R/3. The functionality of SAP ERP is the same as that of R/3.
 Per management server
JobCenter for BI Option
  • One license is needed for each machine in which SAP jobs are defined (the same number of MG licenses).
  • When using the MG in a cluster configuration, one license is needed for each node in the same way as with the MG license. Purchase the BI (SV) version as the second and subsequent licenses.
  • Example: One BI Option license and one BI (SV) Option license are needed in a two-node cluster.
  • SAP BI is the successor product of SAP BW that of BW.

JobCenter for SVF Option
  • One license is needed for each machine in which a UCXSingle job, which is used in combination with the SVF, is defined (the same number as with MG licenses).
  • Purchase one SVF license for each node in the same way as the MG license when using the MG in a cluster configuration.
