EXPRESSSCOPE Engine makes remote server management safe and simple for NEC servers.
Servers can be rebooted and powered on and off from a remote management console. With this capability, administrators can remotely reboot and resume operation of a stalled server without human intervention on site.
EXPRESSSCOPE Engine enables administrators to remotely define power policies to cap the peak power draw of a server. Should the power exceed the set threshold, the server safely shuts down automatically under the predefined policies. In addition, the processor throttling state is always available to give administrators real-time insight into the server’s power consumption. Remote peak power management is a wise, simple, and sustainable means to reduce total power consumption and its cost for the server system.
The remote NEC servers can also be controlled through the command line interface of Telnet or SSH clients. Including Telnet or SSH in batch processes easily enhances efficiency and automation of your remote server control.
