During installation, the system may hung displaying "Booting from local disk". In this case, eject the installation DVD from the drive and reboot the system by Ctrl-Alt-Delete. And the lest of the installation continues.

Disable EDAC modules. EDAC module will prevent hardware from collecting IPMI logs which is necessary for hardware support.
  1. Add following sentences to /etc/modprobe.conf.
    install *_edac /bin/true
    install edac_* /bin/true
  2. Restart the Operation System.
  3. Check that string "edac" is not shown in the result of lsmod.
