Install KMP modules for following drivers.
* Updated version becomes smaller.
Driver Current Updated e1000e 1.2.20-k2 1.2.10-NAPI (*2)NECESSARY
- Extract this file and change to following directory.
# cd x86_64/driver ( if x86_64 system )
- kmp Install KMP packages.
# rpm -ivh --nodeps --nosignature */kmod-*.rpm
# rpm -ivh --nodeps --nosignature */*-kmod-common-*noarch.rpm
- Restart the Operation System.
Disable EDAC modules. EDAC module will prevent hardware from collecting IPMI logs which is necessary for hardware support.(*3)NECESSARY
- Edit /etc/modprobe.d/dist.conf and append the following.
install *_edac /bin/true
install edac_* /bin/true
- Restart the Operation System.
- Check that string "edac" is not shown in the result of lsmod.
Uninstall gnome-disk-utility that incorrectly detects a hard drive failure.
