  3. Restart the Operation System.

  1. Edit /etc/modprobe.d/dist.conf and append the following.
    install *_edac /bin/true
    install edac_* /bin/true
  2. Restart the Operation System.
  3. Check that string "edac" is not shown in the result of lsmod.
