In the FY 2012 "Environmental Management Audits", activities such as a review of requirements for documents to be submitted in advance, trial of collaboration with compliance audits, assignment of auditors in accordance with the prioritization of audit check items, load on companies, and other tasks were continued. An effort was made to enhance audits and to make audits efficient.
At NEC affiliates, auditors are assigned to each affiliate company from NEC to conduct "Reciprocal Environmental Audits" in which the companies audit each other in accordance with the standards of the environmental management audits.
Principal action items included partial omission in registration of information on revised laws. However, business operations are actually carried out despite this partial omission, and no problems are anticipated in law compliance.
