Dioxin

Dioxin is the generic name for the chemical substances used by the United States army in its Agent Orange campaign in the Vietnam War. Known to cause birth defects, physical deformities, cancer, immunity abnormalities, and internal organ damage, dioxins are said to be the strongest and most toxic substances created by humans. Dioxins have been detected in the gases from fires and city refuse incinerators and emissions from paper factories.
