Thank you very much for reading the FY 2012 NEC Annual Environmental Report.
Activities undertaken in FY 2011 have been described. Last fiscal year, the semiconductor business with a large environmental impact was excluded from tabulation due to a business structural reform and the environmental impact was reduced in total.
An attempt was made in compiling this report to allow a comparison with the previous fiscal year as best as we could. However, in some parts, data could not be reviewed retroactively, thereby becoming a future issue in disclosing information that can easily be understood.
Your views and wishes are solicited regarding this report and information disclosure by the NEC Group to make further improvements with the aim of continually disclosing information that is easy to understand in a timely fashion.
