Used Tennis Balls

Used tennis balls are sent to elementary schools, junior high schools and high schools in Japan via the NPO Global Sports Alliance (GSA). These used tennis balls are recycled in classrooms to control noises.

PhotoThey can control noises by being attached to the feet of desks and chairs. (C) Global Sports Alliance

How It Works

Used tennis balls are collected and sent to Global Sports Alliance, and then sent to requesting schools.

  1. At these schools, the balls are cut open and attached to the feet of chairs.
  2. Noises generated when moving chairs can be reduced and loud noises can be prevented inside classrooms.
