Japanese Books (NEC Friendship Library Program)
The "NEC charity library" is NEC's own program to support students who are studying Japanese in China. We donate Japanese books to Chinese schools in cooperation with the Chinese Business Promotion Department to be used as supplementary readers for their study of Japanese language.

Japanese books are collected and packed in cardboard boxes by the members called NEC friendly staff. Each box is packed with 40 to 50 books and sent to Chinese universities and colleges. The objectives of this activity are as follows.
- To help students who study Japanese in China.
- To let these students feel closer to Japan and understand more about Japan.
