Overview

The 17th Boccia Japan Championships was held at Kobe Green Arena from December 25 to December 27, 2015.

Boccia is sports designed so that those with severe disabilities including cerebral palsy can play and an official event of Paralympics. The aim of the game is to throw red or blue balls (six balls each) as close as to a white ball called "jack ball" (target ball). It is similar to curling. Players who cannot throw a ball with hands due to disabilities can kick the ball or use an assistive device such as a ramp to deliver the ball.

Anyone with or without disabilities in any generation can enjoy playing Boccia.
